If you have experience of working in Emergency or Urgent Care Nursing and want to professionally develop your clinical practice to be an independent practitioner - This is the dream role for you!


We are looking to employ appropriately experienced Registered Nurses full time, to undertake our new 12-month training program -Greenbrook Urgent Care Training Program: Assessment & Management of Minor Illness & Injuries for Adults and Paediatrics. This programme has accreditation applied for from The University of Greenwich. Following successful completion of the module you will be awarded 30 credits at Level 6. This is an opportunity for you to be employed in a training role (band 6 equivalent). Following successful completion of the module development towards band 7 is essential.

Requirements

  • You will be highly motivated and committed to self-development and learning.
  • You will undertake face to face classroom teaching at the same time as being supported in the clinical environment to practice and consolidate your clinical skills and overall management of minor injuries and illnesses for adults and paediatric patients presenting to the UTC.
  • You will undergo both formative and summative assessments and be required to complete a 2500 case study.
  • You will have 5 years post registration experience of which the last 2 years have been within an Emergency and/or Urgent Care environment.

 

A competitive salary (band 6 equivalent) is offered in addition to a generous benefits package which includes 6 weeks’ holiday and NHS pension.

Progression to Band 7 upon successful completion of training program.
