Rota and Relationship Manager

  • Full Time - Permanent 
  • 37.5 hours per week including 1 in 5 weekend on call cover (additional remuneration for being on call)
  • Up to £30,600 - Per Annum (dependant on experience) + Generous Flexible Benefits

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Rota and Relationship Manager to join our friendly resourcing team at our central offices in Hayes. 


The rota and relationship manager will work within a central rota team, managing clinical rotas for each of Greenbrook’s services. Operating a 7 day working pattern, with a 1 in 5 on call commitment at the weekend, the post holder will primarily manage 2-3 services’ rotas. This role will include travelling to our services on occasions too and working closely with the management teams of the services we manage.

Working on immediate, medium- and long-term solutions to gaps in the rotas, with responsibility for ensuring services are resourced to the required levels each day, there will also be a requirement to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure all rotas are filled to maximum capacity across the organisation.

In addition to rota fill, the post holder will need to build up good working relations across all staff groups, partner organisations and agencies to ensure that staff feel supported and have clear access to shift availability and swift resolution of any concerns or conflict should any arise.

  • Experience of rota filling
  • Experience of using databases
  • Previous experience of working in a hospital/healthcare setting
  • Good understanding of the NHS environment, particularly in relation to recruitment of clinicians
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relations with all levels of staff and external agencies
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Able and willing to travel to different sites
  • Able and willing to work over a 7-day pattern
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed
  • Understands and adheres to data protection and confidentiality requirements
  • Displays tact and diplomacy at all times
  • Educated to A Level/NVQ3 level or equivalent.


  • Experience of using rota management software
  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Knowledge of Working Time Regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of Urgent Care Centre services
  • Educated to degree level standard or equivalent
